"Carmel Planks"
Today's painting is a 36"x 18" acrylic abstract on canvas. I wanted to create a rustic texture with the paint. I used my favorite sienna colors with a touch of greens and blues to get the look of old weathered wood. The elements can create beautiful colors and textures over time. I imagined an old wooden building or sign that was once painted in vibrant colors. Over time the rain, snow, wind and sun created an even more beautiful scene of natural tones.
