"Vibrant Summer" 20"x30" acrylic on canvas.Today's posting is an abstract. This painting is part of my first series of abstracts. I don't use any brushes on these paintings. I mix the paint with a clear acrylic medium and drag the paint across the canvas. The acrylic medium gives the paint a transparent quality and I'm able to get a lot of beautiful variations in color as I add layer upon layer of paint.
